Graduate positions available as part of the STEP program

As part of the nTAILS project (http://it-futures.com/ntails/) we are currently seeking for 5 skilled recent graduated for a 3 months paid placement in a local (West Midlands, UK) based SME.

The positions requires the Graduate to undertake the implementation of and AIDC technology (barcoding, RFID, Sensor network, Location technologies) in the company to suit their requirements.

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate/post graduate (maximum of 3 yers ago) in an ICT related subject.
  • Strong software development skills: ideally Java, JavaEE, Android, .NET with background in HTML, Javascript and XML
  • Williness to start a career specialising in AIDC techologies.

A 4 week training on AIDC will be provided.

The pilot aims at showcasing to SMEs in the food sector what is needed in terms of technology, business processes, skills and management for an RFID implementation delivering in-house business value and identifying which food information is required to fulfil society's, citizens and/ or organisations needs.
