The people tracking at eIC: this system has been designed to run as a pilot at the e-Innovation Centre in Telford, to track member of the staff in and out the building (and to replace the paper based presence registry). This demonstrator has been integrated with the staffs' MIFARE cards and GoldMine CMS, with the purpose of access control and centralised management of the meeting rooms.The software uses the Glassfish v2.1 as main engine, providing a multitude of remote interfaces to the management and logging application.
The system is using a CAEN A948 scanner , with 3 ceiling mounted antennae. The tag of choice is the battery assisted PowerP produced by PowerID.
